Young eagles

The Aitkin Flyers Club E.A.A. chapter #965 has brought the joy of flight
to over 1,000 kids in the Aitkin area. Our volunteers have made this an
enjoyable experience for all involved. This page is to honor those that
have given a bit of their time and money for such a worthy cause.

We have flown a total of 1,476 Young Eagles so far!!!!

This years young eagles day was a success. We were able to fly about 200 youngsters
from the local area. Two elementary schools participated and we were able to fly all their
sixth graders over a period of two afternoons. The kids enjoyed it as well as the
adults. Thank you to all the pilots and members of the EAA Chapter 965 that participated
in this event. A special thanks to the ladies and the Hakes brothers for
filling out certificates for the kids to take home.
